Hello guys, long time no see. Just want to share some exciting news with coffee friends in Turkey.

As you may know that I'M NOT A BARISTA we have been working on a cool project, a dual-burr hand grinder to challenge the coffee industry. You may also know that we are not a grinder manufacturer like Comandante or Kinu, without a solid manufacturing history, can we make it?

The short answer is YES, WE CAN. Thanks to many wonderful coffee friends from the globe, we may have never met each other, but coffee connects us. With insightful input from coffee people, we are able to start the project from zero, and this week we have finished the 3D printing testing, so within a month, we will have the metal parts ready, which means the prototype is literally around the corner.

As you can see that this is NOT a regular hand grinder, you can easily change the crank lid, the knob, and silicon sleeves. With built-in sifters, 400, 600, and 800-micron sizes, we can really explore brewing coffee with more fun.

The two adjusting ring dials enable us to build a grinding portfolio, we all know consistency is the key. It's arrogant to say that this might be the most mind-blowing experience in the hand grinder industry, but you will see how much fun it is. Your grinder, your game.

Soon we will launch on Indiegogo, I know that many friends from Turkey have already reserved super early birds, thank you for the great support :D

To make it easy to grind Turkish coffee, we asked for feedback from our dear coffee friends and we decided to make the crank handle 16cm, and make the knob wider for a better gripping experience. We plan to have an aluminium knob and triton super clear crank lid so that you can see how the grinder works inside, we also want to offer alternative knob and lid made of wood, such as beech, oak, walnut, rosewood, etc, what is your favourite?

Let me know. also, this is our 2nd newsletter with a bit more info

And again, thanks Levent for the great support, your feedback means a lot to me and my small team.

It is my pleasure to support Micky!

What you and your small team's do is big for the coffee community. Some people just use the "coffee community" wording to get advantage of it but you live it!

I appreciate your effort and time.

You know my answers already :D

Questions:
  1. How is the grinding efficiency (speed) compared to regular grinders? Faster for pour over or espresso?
  2. What do you expect in means of PSD compared to high end grinders?
  3. People love personalization options for their grinders. Are there any :D

I know you are working hard on the final prototype but you may comment.
